A Malibu Sunset

I’ve been a writer and photojournalists for more than 35 years. I enjoy this great profession because I get to offer written and visual glimpses into the lives of everyday people. As a general assignment reporter for the Hollywood Sun Tattler newspaper, Hollywood Florida, I was a crime and features reporter. I spent 10 years working as a photojournalist for three Florida television stations. Including WPLG-TV, WTVJ-TV Miami and WJXT-TV Jacksonville Florida. As a photojournalist in Florida I covered the 80’s Miami Riots, the Cuban flotilla, Cocaine Cowboys, as well as political corruption in local government. Additionally, I photographed the cover of Terrence Roberts’ book “Lessons From Little Rock and co-produced the documentary “Louder Than Rock.” As a veteran writer and photojournalist I have published articles and photographs in a variety of publications among them the Pasadena Star News, Pasadena Journal, Our Weekly, Los Angeles Sentinel, Inland Valley News, LA Daily News, The Whittier Daily News and the National Association of Black Journalists Journal.
